From Busan, by way of a motorbike repair shop. JAX fixes things with his hands before he talks about them. RYO called him in to save a chorus that kept falling apart. He gave it a count, stayed until dawn, and came back the next night without being asked.

KAI was meant to be a dentist. He finished the prep course, then asked his family for one year to take music seriously. He carried the first melody up the stairs to the room above the diner, and he still notices who has been left out of the conversation.
I wrote the melody at 7:12 in the morning. I was meant to be studying. Don't tell my textbooks.

03 · The signal

RYO learned every home he lived in by its sounds: a kitchen fan, a train crossing, a shop bell. He rents the room above the diner because nobody complains when he tests sounds after closing. The old radio up there was the first thing the four of them called theirs.
That sound before the chorus? A radio trying to find the station.
Every place has a sound. This one's ours.
04 · The voice in motion

ZANE grew up between Los Angeles and Seoul and wrote short verses to make sense of each new place. He taught beginner dance classes before the band. KAI brought him upstairs to hear a melody; ZANE answered it with a verse, then found the moves to go with it.

02 / The story
Chapter 1
Seoul, after closing. A burger diner downstairs, a cheap rehearsal room upstairs, and an old radio nobody wanted. The owner leaves one booth light on for them. That's where four unfinished plans turned into one song.
Chapter 2
No audition. They met over one year and kept coming back, because the song sounded wrong without each of them.
In the room
JAX + KAI
Discipline and feeling. They argue about timing, never about whether the other belongs. JAX makes sure KAI has eaten before a long session.
RYO + ZANE
The dance pair. RYO finds the sound, ZANE finds the move, and together they turn it into a routine anyone can learn.
Chapter 3
A song stays in the room until someone answers it. Four sparks light up the city. The fifth one turns it into a night. That's you.
